His Face is Shining

The Lord bless you, and keep you;

"The Lord cause His face to shine on you,
And be gracious to you;

The Lord lift up His face to you,
And give you peace.’

Usually I read this verse and think that God’s face is like looking at a headlight… at night… very bright and being blinded! While this may be true in some way, but I wonder if His Face is full of joy at the sight of YOU. His eyes light up at the sight of YOU! He sees you and it makes Him SMILE!
